On the occasion of 76th year of Independence VKIDFT Mannuthy NSS Unit organised many programmes on that day. The programme was started with flag hoisting by Dean, VKIDFT ;Dr. S N Rajakumar Sir. Followed by his message patriotic cultural programmes began. The programmes include Patriotic songs, group dance and mime. Also prizes were distributed for the winners of Book review competition conducted on behalf of Reading day. By 10.00 am the Independence day celebrations came to an end.
